We specialise in linen with monograms and source , and , mostly from French provincial markets held in Provence. Every weekend the locals place their stalls in the sun and lay out the most delightful linen be they, napkins, sheets or pillowcases, all unique pieces that cannot be found anywhere else. The material is either 100% linen or 100% cotton and the Napkins are often double damask, which means that they have a design woven into the fabric itself.

Virtually all the pieces we have here are over 100 years old and come from the wedding trousseau of young women, who took a dowry of linen with them to their new home. The linens often vary in colour from snowy white to light golden beige to dove grey. This is because the fibres in the earliest pieces were not dyed and so are preserved in their natural colour from the day they were made. We have new stock arriving all the time so make sure you check back regularly.
