This set is to die for! The napkins date around 1900 and made of the finest linen damask, they are medium weight and soft and buttery to the touch. The damask has a Greek key pattern around the edge with poppy bouquets on each corner. They measure 22” wide by 20”(56cm x 51cm) in length. The monogram is very fine indeed and with a high relief and executed with pearly white silk thread. The monogram measures 1.75” in width by 2” high. The centre of the napkins has a repeat of the Greek design interspersed with poppies and dots. The design is very subtle and in the light it is absolutely superb.
