This is a lovely square pillow sham and wonderfully soft to the touch. The monogram is encased in a lovely square surround and is beautifully executed. It is probably French and from around the 1880's. The sham measures 29.5" square (90cm square) and the monogram measures 2.5" square by 4" high (6cm square). Pillow Area is 26" square (66cm). The entire border of the pillow sham has a drawn thread work and twirling springs of leaves. The sham is fastened on the back by five lovely mother of pearl buttons. This will adorn a bed to perfection!
