This a simple and beautiful sham made of 100% medium weight linen which is very soft to the touch. It is probably French and from around the 1890's. The sham measures 26" in width and 27" in height (66cm x 68.5cm). Pillow area measures 22" x 23" (56cm x 58.5cm). The monogram measures 5" x 2.5" (13cm x 6cm). Each initial of the monogram has a five petalled flower embroidered within it and fine pearly white linen thread has been used to execute the design. There are five mother of pearl buttons on the back. A lovely addition to any bedroom of quality.
