Found in France and of great charm! It is probably French and from around the 1900's. It is a medium weight linen, soft, from 100 years of washing to bring the fabric to a level of softness is which virtually impossible to find today in newly woven linens. The sham measures 25" in width by 27" in height (63.5cm x 68.5cm) and the pillow area is 21.5" in width by 23" in height (54cm x 58.5cm). The monogram is 6" in width x 2.5" in height (15cm x 6.5cm). There are five mother of pearl buttons on the back. Each initial of the monogram has the loveliest intricate sycamore leaf embroidered within it with dots and devised plummets again made out of dots. A subtle and sublime addition to your room!
