This pillow sham has the most fascinating border trim of flowers – definitely the widest border I have ever seen. It is French and dates around 1910. The sham measures 33” square (84cm). The monogram measures 4” by 3” high (10cm by 7.5cm). The pillow area measures 25.5” square (65cm). The back is fastened closed by 5 mother of pearl buttons. The entire border of the pillow sham has filigree drawn thread. The monogram is very fine and has been embroidered with fine pearly white thread with flowers within it. This would look just lovely on a bed especially with its very broad border of flowers.
