Pure white very very soft linen. The embroidery is again of the finest quality and delicately embroidered. The monogram has a rope roll above it upon which a bush of flowers rest and on a single petal of one flower rests a bee gathering honey. Dated around 1900. The pillow sham measures 22.5 wide by 23 (57cm x 58.5cm) and the pillow area measures 18.5 square (47cm). The back of the sham is closed by three original linen covered buttons (very rare). The drawn thread work around the border is fine and flawless. The monogram with flowers and bee measures 3 wide by 4 high (7.5cm x 10cm). This is gem of pillow sham and very rare for those of you who enjoy the summer delights of the garden.
